National Geographic Expeditions identified a blind spot in their marketing, where their trips felt reserved for the privileged, and for the common consumer were nothing more than a dream. With a structural change in business came a need to change the brand’s tone. This meant revealing the emotion and point of view of the traveler, as well as the understanding that at various levels, National Geographic Expeditions could make any trip an adventure.
